The Cheltenham YMCA did a fantastic job organising Sleep Easy 2015 and we were all too happy to help out and tweet for them throughout the night.

It was a tough experience, but we got to come home into the warm afterwards – many aren’t as lucky.
Thank you to those who followed along for the night. We hope the tweets brought some reality to the situation that those facing homelessness have to contend with.
There was a great spirit at the event. In the morning, despite a horrible night of broken sleep, there was a great sense of achievement, as between the 60 or so participants, a lot of money will have been raised for the Cheltenham YMCA (total TBC).
Thanks to those who donated on Virgin Giving page – it’s still open here and the money goes directly to Cheltenham YMCA.
Here are a few links of coverage from the night:
– Our tweets, Storified, all in one place
– Photos from the event
– The Gloucestershire Echo wrote an article in the aftermath
– Liam spoke to BBC Radio Gloucestershire before the event, previewing what was expected
– Liam and Sophie caught up with BBC Radio Gloucestershire bright and early on the morning after, sharing some thoughts on how the night went
Thanks very much to the Cheltenham YMCA for asking us along. We look forward to Sleep Easy 2016.
